Haven't heard from Mr.E since we went to see him over a coffee. Guess that means I'm dumped, even though dumped really isn't the right word for it. We never started anything in the first place, I mean not really, so how can I be dumped? But thing is, I feel dumped.
Luckily I'm going out tomorrow night with my friends, I need some cheering up... How come it feels so empty even though nothing ever really happened? Why do I feel like such an idiot? Such a girl? Such a teenage girl? (Sorry if I offend anyone. Maybe I should be more specific.) I feel like I did when I was a teenaged girl... Like I did when I was a teen idiot who fell for who ever looked me in the eye and smiled at me... (God how pathetic do I sound?)
I know he's working really really hard doing his computer sciency thing, but hey...an IM? Not alot to ask for. And now I feel I can't just IM him, because I don't want to seem like I'm stalking him... I bet it's his neighbor. Or someone else. I need to get him Out Of My Head! A.s.a.p. Not good, not good at all!

I'm a single mum who has realised how weird it can get trying to get back into the dating scene after staying away from it such a long time.
Having moved back to a small northern Swedish town from London has been a bit of an adventure as well.
But luckily I have my friends, both old and new, who keeps my head above water and feet firmly on the ground. And who don't seem to mind that I sometimes tend to get slightly neurotic....

Well, it's only been a few days, right? We have to remember that men don't have the same concept of time as women do. For us, a few days feels like an eternity, but to them, it could feel just like yesterday.
But I do understand how you're feeling. When I like someone, I want to hear from them everyday, or else I get a little crazy, and pathetic thoughts start to wander into my head. So, I feel you on this one.
It's a good thing that you're going out with your friends and keeping busy. He can't be the main focus in your life. There is a whole world out there of other available guys. If it so happens that Mr. E doesn't work out for you, you have to keep the options open for a replacement!
My mum always told me "There are 3 things that you never ever should run after, the first is the bus and the other MEN! There will always be a new one." And to be honest, that was a really bad translation from my side ;O) But you probably got the picture, otherwise I can take it in Swedish as well.My point is the same as Novas (I tend to have the same advice as her) You have to keep the options open for a replacement!"
