What's Going On?

And every time I think I'm feeling better I hear from him again...

Men work on the elastic band theroy. The more you pull back the more they are interested. If you stepped forward , they pull back. Its even inbuilt into their radar system. Somehow they always know when you start getting on with your own life. They don't like the fact that you might not want them which is red rag to them and makes them want you even more. ( if only temporarily

You are so right. I just can't seem to let go properly. We're in the same group of friends and I know we have to meet up and talk soon. I just need to get stronger first. He makes me weak at the knees...

Finding strength is the hard bit, I know that all too well. I remember after one broken heart incident I was so worried about suddenly bumping into him at the local supermarket. So all the way round I kept saying to myself a mantra. ( Don't worry I'm not going all hippy and strange) I thought of all the negative atributes he had and this was my mantra. All was well till the checkout girl asked me something and I was so wrapped up in mantra that instead of answering 'No i dont need help with my packing' i replied ' pot bellied, speedo wearing, belching pain in the arse' The real version of the mantra was actually a bit ruder but i'll spare you that.
Dig deep, you have the strength.

I will certainly try...

Ha ha ha what did the poor check out girl say to that??

She looked at me rather blankly, my shopping was finished in deathy silence. I dont know who was more embrassed her or me. I still avoid her to this day if she is one the checkouts. The other thing i use to do was wear something i knew he hated. My heart breaker hated the colour pink. So on bad days i would wear something pink as if to say i can and i shall.

I get you Confessions, I'd avoid her too. Hmmm, the thing with wearing something that he might hate..? I like the idea. Only thing I know he hates though is girls in short mini skirts, strappy sandals and tiny vest tops, and unfortunately I'm not about to embarass myself wearing that. Maybe in the safe haven of my flat :)
